BERLIN — Fort Loramie competed again in the Classic in the Country Saturday morning, coming away a 43-38 loser to Cincinnati Summit Country Day.

The loss left the Lady Redskins at 9-3 overall with a makeup at Minster tonight. Country Day is 14-1 and the No 3-ranked team in the state in Division 3.

The Lady Redskins gave up 22 points in the opening quarter but only 21 the rest of the way. But it wasn’t quite the answer.

Jessica Boerger had all but 13 of her team’s points, finishing with 25 for the Lady Redskins.

RUSSIA — The Russia Raiders rolled to their seventh win in a row Saturday, routing visiting Miami East in non-league action 52-33.

The win puts the Lady Raiders at 10-6 with three difficult games in a row coming up against Anna, Minster and Fort Loramie.

Tiffany Hatcher had 19 points with the aid of three threes, and Maria Herron hit four from long range and finished with 16 for Russia.

OTTOVILLE — Minster fell behind 16-4 after one quarter and never recovered in losing 44-27 to Ottoville in non-league action Saturday on the road.

The loss left Minster at 12-3 on the season heading into a makeup game tonight at home against Fort Loramie. Ottoville is now 13-2.

Rosie Westerbeck had 12 for Minster.

Peyton Esser had 13 to lead the Lady Tigers and Kenzie Schroer had 10 for New Knoxville.

UNION CITY — Lehman evened its record on the year at 7-7 with a 51-32 road win over Mississinawa Valley in non-league play.

The Lady Cavs overcame a 10-7 first-quarter deficit to lead 25-18 at the half. They stretched the lead from there.

Kassie Lee led three Lehman players in double figures with 12, Grace Monnin had 11 and Allie Hall had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Fogt pulled down nine rebounds and Lee eight, and Monnin had six steals.

The loss left the Lady Jets at 2-13 on the year.

Audrey Francis had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Jets, and Mollie Roe added 13 points.
