Anna and Botkins grabbed the No. 1 seeds for the County junior high boys basketball tournaments, which are set to begin Saturday at Houston.

Anna is the top seed for the 8th grade tournament, with Fort Loramie No. 2.

There will be three games on Saturday at Houston beginning at 10 a.m. The semifinals are slated for Tuesday of next week and the championship game a week from Saturday, Feb. 6.

Following are the pairings:

8th grade

At Houston

Seeds — 1. Anna, 2. Fort Loramie, 3. Jackson Center, 4. Russia, 5. Houston, 6. Fairlawn, 7. Botkins

SATURDAY

10 a.m. — Jackson Center vs. Russia

11:15 — Fort Loramie vs. Houston

12:30 — Anna vs. Fairlawn

TUESDAY

Semifinals

6 p.m. — JC-Russia winner vs. Loramie-Houston winner

7:15 — Anna-Fairlawn winner vs. Botkins

Championship — Saturday, Feb. 6, 10:45 a.m.

Botkins grabbed the No. 1 seed for the 7th grade tournament, which also begins this Saturday at Houston. Fort Loramie is seeded second.

The tournament will feature three games Saturday, with the semifinals Tuesday and the championship also a week from Saturday, Feb. 6.
