JACKSON CENTER — The 36th annual Jackson Center Freshman Boys Basketball Tournament will be held starting on Monday of next week, it was announced Thursday.

Seven other schools will send their freshman squads to join Jackson Center in the tournament, including Russia, Fort Loramie, Houston, Anna, Lehman, Fairlawn and Botkins.

The teams were seeded this week and the Russia Raiders took the No. 1 spot, followed by Fort Loramie.

There will be four games in the tournament on Monday starting at 4:30. The last game is scheduled to begin around 8 p.m.

The semifinals will be next Thursday at 6 and 7:15, with the championship and consolation games slated for Monday, Feb. 8.
