JACKSON CENTER — There were four games played Monday in the annual Jackson Center Freshman Boys Basketball Invitational at Jackson Center, and the top four seeds all advanced to the semifinals.

The first game of the tournament was a thriller, with third-seeded Houston edging Lehman 52-52.

Top-seeded Russia beat Botkins 48-35, second-seeded Fort Loramie beat Jackson Center 44-32, and fourth-seeded Anna defeated Fairlawn 47-38.

The semifinals are slated for Thursday night. At 6 p.m., Houston and Russia will meet, and at 7:15, Fort Loramie will take on Anna.

The championship game is Monday at 6:45, preceded by the third-place game starting at 5:30.
