The ScoresBroadcast.com listenership count of IP addresses exceeded the 2,500 mark in the fourth quarter of the Minster vs. Fort Loramie regional semifinal girls basketball game on Thursday night.

Just as Fort Loramie took the lead for good on a three-point shot by Jadyn Puthoff, a major portion of this large volume of fans tuned to the free online service and broke SCORES’ previous records for boys and girls regular season and tournament basketball, excluding state tournament action.

Fort Loramie outpointed Minster 36-15 over the last 18 minutes and pulled away to win 47-36.

The Redskins, D-IV girls AP poll champs in Ohio for three straight seasons, will tangle with a hot-shooting Convoy Crestview club on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in a state semifinal at UD. ScoresBroadcast covers live at 10:30 a.m.; WMVR simulcasts.

The Redskins are vying for their third state championship in the last eight years of completed Ohio high school state tournaments.

A trio of days of ScoresBroadcast coverage opens on Tuesday night as the Botkins boys battle Newark Catholic in a D-IV regional semifinal. The Trojans last regional appearance was 20 years ago. Air time is 5 p.m. online and on radio.

The Anna boys, who have garnered three district titles in a row, hit the hardwood again versus Cincinnati Taft on Wednesday evening. This D-III region semi tips at 5:30. Air time is also at 5.
