WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield ushers in the month of August with a full program of racing this Saturday night.

The night of racing includes the Buckeye Machine Non Wing Sprint cars, Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints, Post Agri Service UMP Modifieds, Block Insurance Tough Trucks, and the Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts.

Saturday’s event will be the first in over a month that all five weekly divisions will run on the same night, meaning five different A-main features for the race fans.

Defending non-wing sprint track champion Kyle Simon is currently tied with young driver Luke Hall for the points lead.

Points battles across the board are tight, with less than 35 points separating first and second in each of the weekly classes.

Pit side gates for Saturday’s action open at 4 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 5, and cars hit the racing surface at 6 for hot laps. Racing gets underway at 7.

Adult general admission is $12. Young adults ages 11 to 15 are admitted for $6 with everyone under the age of ten admitted free. Pit admission for all ages is $25.
