Nine named MVPs at Lehman

Lehman High School put the final touch on the spring sports season with its annual banquet at the school, honoring participants in baseball, softball, tennis and track.

There were three Most Valuable Player awards presented in baseball, four in track, and one each in tennis and softball.

In baseball, Parker Riley won the pitching MVP award, Nate Bosway was the MVP in hitting, and Max Schutt was named the defensive MVP.

The Coaches Awards went to Brandon Barhorst for varsity and Mitchell Sollmann for junior varsity.

In softball, coach Bill Booth presented the MVP award to Allie Hall. Grace Monnin won the batting average award, and Amanda Titterington the Coaches Award.

In track, the MVPs for the running events were Alanna O’Leary and Jacob Schmiesing, and the MVPs for the field events were Kassie and Kameron Lee.

O’Leary won the girls Coaches Award and Alvaro Barrera the boys Coaches Award.

And in boys tennis, Griffin West was named MVP, Malachi Bezy won the Coaches Award, and Sean Toner was named most improved.
