The Shelby County Whitetails Unlimited annual Outdoor Youth Day will be held on Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shelby County Fish and Game, 9210 Sidney-Freyburg Road in Sidney.

The Youth Day is for ages 7-to-15 and pre-registrations is required.

There will be a rock wall, archery, a fishing derby, paint ball and trap shooting, and all activities are free. However, the club encourages participating youngsters to bring non-perishable foods to donate to the local food pantry.

The deadline for registering for the event is Aug. 5 and it is limited to the first 120 participants.
