The Senior Swingers also met at Shelby Oaks this week, with the game being “scramble with low net.”

Highlighting this week’s play was an eagle by Jim Boyer. Following a good tee shot, he hit his second shot in the cup on the par-4 No. 5 hole on the south course.

South — Dave Hollenbacher, Don Sherman, Jerry Schmiesing, Joel Emrick.

North — Dale Egbert, Lloyd Wiford.

West — Larry Goffena, Norm Smith.

Oaks Ladies

The Shelby Oaks Ladies League met on Wednesday, with the play of the day being “step aside scramble, all flights.”

The team of Pris Reier, Karen Dickman and Judy Doll was first.

Second was the team of LuAnn Fultz, Joyce Wick and Sheila Beer.

Third went to the team of Judy Bemus, Joyce Goubeaux and Sandy Weaver.

And fourth went to the team of Rita Brinkman, Ellen Joslin and Linda Spangler.
