JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Lady Tigers remained unbeaten on the year with a 53-5 victory over Fairlawn in County girls basketball action Thursday.

The win put the Lady Tigers at 4-0 in the league and 7-0 on the year with New Bremen coming to town Thursday.

Fairlawn drops to 0-4 in the league and 0-8 overall and hosts Newton Thursday.

Jackson Center shut out the Lady Jets in the first two quarters for a 36-0 lead at the half.

Cassie Meyer had 11 to lead Jackson and Olivia Clark added nine.

Anna 50, Lehman 41

Lehman jumped to a 16-6 lead after one quarter but couldn’t hold Anna off in a 50-41 victory for the Lady Rockets in non-league girls action Thursday.

Anna is now 3-4 overall and is at Versailles Wednesday.

Lehman drops to 2-5 and hosts New Bremen Tuesday.

Grace Monnin had 14 points to lead Lehman.

No scoring was available for Anna.

New Bremen 61, USV 53

NEW BREMEN — New Bremen notched its second win of the season Thursday, beating Upper Scioto Valley in non-league action Thursday 61-53.

The Lady Cardinals are 2-4 and are at Lehman Tuesday and Jackson Center Thursday.

Kelly Naylor had 16 to lead Bremen, hitting seven of her 10 shots from the field.

Kayla Bergman and Jane Homan added 10 points each, and Homan added 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Upper Scioto Valley (53) — Miller 6, Spradlin 12, Carroll 2, Daniels 4, Patton 29.
