Sidney bowler DJ Johnson bowled his third and fourth 300 games of the current season this past week at Bel-Mar Lanes, giving him eight for his career.

Subbing in the Friday Night Fun League, Johnson had games of 192, 236 and 300 for a 728 series.

Then Monday night in the Minor League, Johnson bowled games of 300, 258 and 256 for an 814 series. It was his second 800 series of the season. Earlier, he set a new house record with an 856 series.

Johnson has now bowled eight 300 games and six 800 series in his career.

This season, he has been outstanding, with averages of 223, 226, 231 and 238 in the four leagues he bowls in.

Bel-Mar has now had 10 perfect games bowled this season.
