Lady Cavs fall
St. Marys edged Lehman in girls tennis action Tuesday 3-2.
Lehman’s wins came in doubles play. The first doubles team of Diana Gibson and Sarah Gibson won 7-6, 7-6, and the second doubles team of Emma Simpson and Alex Read won 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.
“St. Marys won the Schroeder Invitational earlier this season so it was a good effort by the girls,” said Lehman coach Tim Ungericht. “Both doubles teams beat teams who won their divisions at Schroeder. I switched things up to get the girls some work at positions they might play come tourney time.”
