Two Sidney teams made their first appearance in the Associated Press boys state basketball rankings this week.
The Sidney Yellow Jackets, coming off their big win Friday at home over Trotwood, are ranked 13th in Division 1 this week.
And the Fairlawn Jets, who own the county’s best record at 14-2, are ranked 13th in Division 4.
Fort Loramie remains in the top 10 in D-4, ranked 7th this week, and the Versailles Tigers are again No. 4 in D-3.
• In the latest girls state basketball rankings, the Minster girls are tied for third in D-4. Jackson Center is 11th this week and Russia 14th.
The Versailles girls are No. 8 in D-3.
