Minster senior Rosie Westerbeck was named the Player of the Year and her coach, Mike Wiss, the Coach of the Year after the Lady Wildcats finished the regular season with a 20-2 record, including a perfect 9-0 record in MAC action.

Westerbeck averages a team-high 13 points per game for Minster, has hit 49 percent of her field goal attempts and an impressive 82 percent on 60 for 73 from the free throw line. She also has 53 assists and a team-high 57 steals.

She was joined on the first team by Courtney Prenger, a 6-foot-2 sophomore. She averages 10.4 points per game and 4.4 rebounds.

Also named to the first team were juniors Kami McEldowney and Danielle Winner of runner-up Versailles. McEldowney was the Lady Tigers’ leading scorer at 13.6 points per game, and also led in assists with 72 and steals with 52.

Winner averaged 8.7 points and a team-high 5.0 rebounds during the regular season, which ended up with the Lady Tigers at 19-3, including 8-1 in the league.
