Ohio Living Dorothy Love will be sponsoring its seventh annual 5K Run/Walk, a Run to Remember, on April 8.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Miami Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, which serves Shelby County, and the Ohio Living Dorothy Love Life Care Fund.

The Life Care Fund helps assure that all Ohio Living Dorothy Love residents will always have a home even if, in good faith, they run out of funds meant to see them through.

Registration for the run costs $20 and includes a free T-shirt, or $15 without a T-shirt, if registered before March 25.

Registrations received after March 25 will be $20 and do not include a T-shirt.

Packets can be picked up starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Amos Community Center at Dorothy Love, 3003 West Cisco Road in Sidney, where they will also be accepting same-day registrations.

The run will begin at 9 a.m.

There will be awards for the top male and female overall, as well as for first, second and third for both male and female in each age group from 10-and-under to 70-and-up.
