SIDNEY — Jackson Center continued its domination of county and area volleyball Saturday, winning a big challenge impressively with a 3-0 victory in action at Lehman in non-league play.

The Lady Tigers won 25-10, 25-10, 25-14 to go to 13-0, and they have won all 13 by 3-0 scores. They entered the game ranked No. 2 in the state, and face a good New Knoxville team tonight on the road.

Lehman, meanwhile, drops to 10-5 on the season and is back in action tonight at Fort Recovery. The Lady Cavs were ranked No. 5 in Division 4 coming into the game.

Cassie Meyer had 15 kills, 11 digs and four aces to lead the Lady Tigers, and Pauline Meyer had 11 kills, 11 digs and two aces. Alicia Kessler aded five kills and Erin Metz four kills and three blocks.

KamrynElchert had 22 assists and two aces, Peyton Esser 16 digs, and Jayel Frye seven assists.

The Lady Tigers also won the junior varsity game in two.

Anna gets County

win over Houston

ANNA — The Anna Lady Rockets upped their County record to 7-1 and went to 12-4 overall with a 3-0 win over Houston in action at Anna Saturday morning.

The scores were 25-18, 27-25, 25-12.

Houston falls to 1-7 and 5-8.

Kennedey Glover led Anna with 11 kills and Sarah Bettinger added 10.

Elizabeth Landis had 30 assists and four aces, Paige Richard had four aces, Avery Bensman 14 digs and Mackenzie Wells eight digs.

For Houston, Jenna Mounts had seven kills and Sarah Monnier four. Jenna Winner had two aces and Mounts finished with seven digs.

Anna also won the junior varsity game 25-20, 26-24.

Lady Jets win

over Indian Lake

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Lady Jets raised their record to 11-4 with a 3-0 win over Indian Lake Saturday.

The scores were 25-14, 25-14 26-24.

Audrey Francis led the way with 14 kills and 23 digs for the Lady Jets. Mollie Roe addeed eight kills, Lauren Dudgeon seven and Paige Vondenheuvel six.

Chelsie Brautigam had 37 assists and six digs, Dudgeon added seven digs and four blocks, Roe had nine digs and Vondenheuvel six.

Minster wins

own invitational

MINSTER — Minster emerged as the champion of its own invitational on Saturday, winning three straight games.

The Lady Wildcats beat Franklin Monroe 25-13, 25-7, Russia 25-10 25-14, and Marion Pleasant in the championship game 25-10, 25-14.

On the day, Rosie Westerbeck had 19 kills and eight digs, Jordyn Heitbrink 17 kills, 19 digs and six aces, Katie Wuebker 15 kills and 18 digs, Paige Thobe 13 kills, and Hannah Schmitmeyer 10 kills and 28 digs.

Hayley Baumer had 65 assists, 15 digs and four aces, and LeAnn Huelsman had three aces and 18 digs.

Russia beat Lincolnview 25-12, 25-22 and also lost to West Liberty Salem 25-27, 25-20 in the match for third place.

Botkins also lost to Covington 25-22, 21-25, 25-20, and defeated Lincolnview 25-12, 25-8.
