The 14th annual Running Raider 5K will take place on Sunday, September 3, as part of the Russia Homecoming Festival.

The race will start at 9 a.m. and will begin at the high school and finish at the Homecoming ground. Can’t Stop Timing will time the race.

Pre-registration is $12 without a shirt, $22 with a shirt.

Pre-registration deadline is August 21. Participants may also register on race day from 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. at Russia Local School (100 School St, Russia) in the Commons Area. Race Day registration, without a shirt is $15. A limited number of Bella + Canvas race shirts will be sold on race day.

The top male and female runners will each receive $100. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division, male and female.

A one-mile fun run starts at 9:45 a.m. at the corner of Borchers and Raider Streets. Race day registration only.

Door prizes, such as Fit Bits, an Amazon Echo, a Ninja Bullet and Hydro Flask water bottles, will be awarded after the fun run. Participants must be present to win. Free refreshments will be provided at the completion of the race.
