SIDNEY — The Kiwanis Club of Sidney will have its annual Labor Day Chicken Bar-B-Que, Monday, Sept. 3, at the Shelby County Fairgrounds.

Serving time will be from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or until sold out. The chicken barbecue has been a Labor Day tradition for more than 65 years.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $9 the day of the event. Included in the purchase price is a half chicken, potato chips, applesauce and a roll and butter.

Tickets can be purchased from any club member or can be purchased at the door the day of the event. Tickets can also be purchased at Bunny’s Pharmacy, Ron & Nita’s, Best One Tire, Sidney Tire, Sidney Daily News and Mutual Federal.

Proceeds from event fund many of the community service projects of the Sidney Kiwanis.
