SIDNEY — Two Sidney residents were arrested Monday morning, May 2, after the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 829 Mount Vernon Place in Sidney.

Acting on citizen complaints regarding drug activity, deputies arrested Jeffrey L. Jackson, age 33, of Sidney, and Nathaniel L. Jackson, age 29, of Sidney, both for trafficking in drugs. Deputies located in the home crack cocaine, marijuana, paraphernalia associated with drugs sales and $7,000 in U.S. currency.

Nathaniel Jackson is being held in the Shelby County Jail on one count of trafficking in drugs, a third degree felony.

Jeffrey Jackson is being held in the Shelby County Jail on one count of trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony. Further charges are pending a review with the Shelby County Prosecutor’s Office.

Both men are scheduled to be arraigned in Sidney Municipal Court on May 3, 2016 at 9 a.m.
