ANNA — On Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., the Anna High School Drama Club will present the 49th Annual Night of One Acts.
Three one act comedies will be presented in Milliette Auditorium.
“The Great American Talent Show” is directed by Nathan Poeppelman. The play depicts the final night of a yearlong TV talent show and parodies American Idol, America’s Got Talent, Star Search and others.
“Avoiding the Pitfalls of High School Dating” is directed by Claire Spicer. In this play, Lucky Daye and Starry Knight are two people who have invested their entire life savings into creating this simple system of five “never-fail” rules for dating success. Lenny and Matilda, two outcasts, have been brought in to demonstrate the system by going on a series of speed dates.
“Sunday Dinner” is directed by Maddy Weiskittle. It is about the Puckets gathering to celebrate Granny’s birthday and it’s a Sunday afternoon of wisecracking fun.
The public is invited to come and spend an evening laughing, smiling, and enjoying these three comedies. Tickets are $6 and will be available at the door.
