SIDNEY — Karen and Paul Francis, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a daughter, Mara Josephine Francis, born Feb. 10, 2019, at 7:06 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 21 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her brothers, Brock Francis, 7, and Jonah Francis, 6.

Her materal grandparents are Mary and Conrad Phlipot, of Russia. Her paternal grandparents are Ralph Francis, of Anna, and the late Dorothy Francis.

Her mother is the former Karen Phlipot, of Russia.
