MARION — Alyssa Watkins and Austin Gates, of Marion, announce the birth of their twin daughters, Emersyn Jean Gates and Isla Taylor Gates on Oct. 8, 2020, at 8:07 a.m. at Dublin Ohio Methodist Hospital.

They were welcomed home by their older sister, Ainsley Sue Gates, 2 1/2.

Their maternal grandparents are Darin Watkins, of Worthington, and Tracy Glover, of Jackson Center. Their paternal grandparents are Harold Gates, of Delaware, and Katie Herdman, of Marion. Their great-grandparents are James and Suzanne Watkins, of Maplewood, Suellen Reuber, of Lakeview, Gary Buroker, of Lakeview, and Kathy Taylor, of Delaware.
