CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Kristin Eilerman and Maxton Zalaquett, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Aug. 28, 2016, in The Isles Restaurant in Ocean Isle, North Carolina.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kathy and Jeff Eilerman, of Sidney. She graduated from Houston High School in 2007 and from Edison Community College in 2011 with an Associate of Applied Science in physical therapy assistance. She is self-employed.

Her fiance is the son of Lora and George Zalaquett, of Matthews, North Carolina. He is a 2007 graduate of Providence High School and a 2011 graduate of Western Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He is employed by Novant Health as an interactive website coordinator.
