Fairlawn to hold prom, after-prom events

SIDNEY — Fairlawn Local School’s juniors and seniors will celebrate the theme “A Time of Our Lives” during their prom on Saturday, April, 27.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner to be held at 6:30, followed by crowing of the king and queen at the Shelby Oaks Club.

The dance will follow dinner, around 8 p.m., lasting until 11 p.m.

The doors open at 11:30 p.m. for the after prom celebration, lasting until 3 a.m., at Fairlawn School. Prizes will be given during this time, and students must attend to win. All proceeds will be raffled off to the students.

Candidates for prom queen include Renee Gent, daughter of Tatum Compton and Vickie Heath; Skylar Jones, daughter of Homer Jones and Stephanie Sullenberger; Madison Peirce, daughter of Matt Peirce and Monica Thumma; and Allison Roush, daughter of Darrin and Karen Ike and Rodney Roush.

Candidates for king are Lane Greiwe, son of Jeromy and Season Greiwe; Noah Krebs, son of Bryan and Karina Krebs; Levi McDonald, son of Scott and Sherry McDonald; and Thomas Moloney, son of Brian and Susan Moloney.
