PORT JEFFERSON — Stokes Chapter of Order of Eastern Stars No. 543 of Port Jefferson recently installed officers for the 2017-2018 year.

Deb Wooddell was installed as worthy matron; Roger Wooddell, worthy patron; Misty Wooddell, associate matron; David Geuy, associate patron; Drusilda Knoop, secretary; Bruce Ailes, treasurer; Jenna Geuy, conductress; Barbara Geuy, associate conductress; Eldred Kipp Jr., chaplain; Lelia McKibben, marshal; Ester Martin, Adah; Betty Prescott, Ruth; Misty D. Wooddell, Esther; Barb Laughlin, Martha; Cari Allison, Electa; Rob Wooddell, warder; and Terry Chamberlain, sentinel.

The installing officer was Past Matron Cathy Broughton, of Troy. The installing marshal was Past Matron Fonda Mason, of Celina. Installing chaplain was Past Matron Debby Pitts, of Sidney. Installing organist was Suzanne Murlin, of Celina.

Deb Wooddell announced that the year’s theme would be County Fair.

Members were asked to donate items weighing a pound each for auction at the Dec. 12 meeting.
