SIDNEY — Agape Distribution, 209 Brooklyn Ave., will honor area military veterans during an event, July 8.

From 9 a.m. to noon, veterans and their families will be treated to a hot dog lunch, and veterans will be invited to select home repair and decorative gifts, enter their names in drawings for prizes.

To be eligible, veterans must provide identification showing their status as veterans.

“Gifts with values ranging over $200 are available for the choosing. You choose to serve; Agape Distribution chooses to say, ‘Thank you,’ to you and your family for the sacrifices. Ours is the greatest nation on Earth, in part because of you,” said the Rev. John Geissler, Agape Distribution CEO.
