SIDNEY — The Rainbow Gardeners of Shelby hosted a Christmas flower show enjoyed by more than 100 visitors, Dec. 12, in the Amos Center at Ohio Living Dorothy Love.

Almost 60 arrangements and designs with themes ranging from classical to whimsical were judged by Marian Moeckel, of Troy, and by guests. The Christmas boutique sold out of nearly all of its cookies, jewelry, candles and other Christmas items.

The winner of the Best of Show award and the People’s Choice award was Teresa Freisthler, 0f Sidney, with a stunning Victorian design. The door prize, a basket brimming with festive and aromatic goodies, was won by Mary Vollmar, of Bowling Green. She opted to give the basket to her mother, Ruth Falter, a resident of Dorothy Love.

Those not able to attend the show can view many of the Christmas arrangements by visiting the Rainbow Gardeners Facebook page.
