Minster Board of Zoning Appeals

MINSTER — The Minster Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a hearing on May 9, 2017, in the village of Minster Council Chambers located at 5 W. Fourth St., Minster, at 7 p.m. The board will consider two variances.

Marcus Stueve, owner of property located at 715 E. Fourth St, would like to erect an attached garage onto the existing home located on the property. The proposed garage addition would be located 3 feet from the west property line. The Village of Minster Zoning Code calls for a side yard setback to be 7 feet 6 inches. Therefore, a variance of 4 feet 6 inches would be needed on the side yard setback.

Mitchell Bihn, owner of property located at 341 E. Fourth St., would like to erect an addition onto the existing home located on the property. The proposed addition would be located 22 feet from the rear property line. The Village of Minster Zoning Code calls for the rear yard setback to be 35 feet. Therefore, a variance of 13 feet would be needed on the side yard setback.

Any person wishing to comment on the proposed appeal may attend the meeting or call the Zoning administrator or a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
