THURSDAY

-11:18 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Benjamin Brandewie, 41, 934 Buckeye Ave., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at West North Street/North West Avenue.

-9:15 p.m.: theft. Renee L. Ball, 1112 Hazelnut Lane, reported the theft of a large metal wagon wheel and outdoor fire ring from her residence. Value of the items was set at $70.

-7:15 p.m.: arrest. Nathan Christopher Parke, 20, was arrested on a warrant on a theft without consent charge. He was wanted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

-7:01 p.m. criminal damaging. Annette M. Smith, 729 Arrowhead Drive, reported someone damaged her vehicle.

-5:10 p.m.: contempt. Lela C. Jones, 42, 219 S. West Ave., was arrested on an active warrant.

-4:33 p.m.: criminal damaging. Kristin M. Knight, 1527 E. Court St., Apt. G, reported someone tried to break into hr vehicle between Tuesday at 8 a.m. and 8:16 p.m. while it was parked at her residence. Damage was set at $120.

-12:02 p.m.: theft. Franklin D. Noe, 819 S. Miami Ave., reported a tool box and tools were taken from his back porch. The items were valued at $2,065.

-10:31 a.m.: probation violation. David S. Carnes, 52, 500 N. Vandemark Road, Apt. 67, was arrested on a probation violation from Sidney Municipal Court.

TUESDAY

-5:31 p.m.: vandalism. Robbin Rouse, 811 Arrowhead, reported her vehicle was vandalized while it was parked at her residence. Damage was set at $1,500.

Accidents

Diema Lemaster, 41, 1221 Riverbend Blvd., was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 4:11 p.m.

A vehicle driven by Kristen Nelson, 36, 120 Elk Drive, New Bremen, was westbound on Russell Road and had stopped for traffic in front of 347 W. Russell Road. Lemaster was also going westbound on Russell Road and failed to stop in time for the stopped traffic, striking Nelson’s vehicle.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Alisha N. Weaver, 16, Sidney, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 3:42 p.m.

A vehicle driven by Henry T. Fitchpatrick, 52, 318 W. Main St., Port Jefferson, was stopped on state Route 29 (Court Street) in front of 115 E. Court St. in the left lane of travel. Weaver was eastbound on state Route 29 in the left lane and failed to stop for the stopped vehicle, striking it in the rear.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Delory G. Haynes, 31, Wapakoneta, was cited for an improper lane change following a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 8:24 a.m.

Jarred K. Palmer, 37, 415 Riverside Drive, was traveling southbound on state Route 29 (Ohio Avenue) near Washington Street in the left lane of travel. Haynes was also traveling on Ohio Avenue but in the right lane.

Haynes changed lanes and failed to see Palmer’s vehicle while attempting to turn left onto Washington Street.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

• Andilena Longbrake, 38, 516 Michigan St., was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at 5:13 p.m.

Janet Borchers, 61, 6300 Fort Recovery Road, Houston, was eastbound on Michigan Street in front of 2011 Michigan St. in the left lane. She was stopped in traffic.

Longbrake was also eastbound on Michigan Street. She struck the rear of Borchers’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Levi Cole, 24, Piqua, was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control following a one-vehicle accident Saturday, March 5, at 9:31 p.m.

Cole was westbound in the 100 block of East South Street when he fell asleep while driving. The vehicle struck a power pole. The vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

Fire/Rescue

FRIDAY

-4:44 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on one run.

THURSDAY

-2:38 to 9:09 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on four runs.

-2:05 p.m.: leaking fuel. Firefighters were dispatched to the 89 mile marker on Interstate 75 where a semi-tractor trailer was leaking fuel.

-10:07 a.m. to 1:54 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on three runs.
