-6:06 a.m.: criminal damaging. Andrea Whited, 45, 204 Forest St., reported someone damaged two tires on her vehicle.

MONDAY

-6:18 p.m.: contempt. Donald Phillips, 51, Tremont City, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

SUNDAY

-6:42 p.m.: criminal damaging. Misty King, 35, 1901 Fairoaks Drive, was arrested for criminal damaging after officers responded to the report of an altercation and the criminal damage of a 65-inch TV and a 26-inch TV at 544 Michigan St.

-3:37 p.m.: identity theft. Joelle Clegg, 39, 1195 W. Russell Road, reported her credit card information was stolen.

-1:56 p.m.: found property. A KeyBank debit card belonging to Amanda Rodriquez was found at Holy Angels Catholic Church, South Ohio Avenue, and was turned in to the police department.

-1:53 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report made by Julia Cisco, 60, 972 Children’s Home Road, that someone took her vehicle without permission from the 1500 block of Kenwood Drive. The vehicle was later recovered in Huber Heights.

SATURDAY

-6:58 p.m.: theft. Summer Cisco, 30, 10817 Little Turtle Way, reported an Elder-Beermen gift card, valued at $25, a Chase Bank debit card and $14.45 were taken from her vehicle in the 600 block of Kuther Road. A police investigation is pending.

-6:43 p.m.: burglary. Joshua Naseman, 22, 352 Park St., reported someone broke into his home while he was gone.

-5:38 p.m.: telephone harassment. Susan Mitchell, 56, 2315 Collins Ave., Apt. C, was arrested for telephone harassment.

-4:52 p.m.: theft. Amy Jones, 41, 1210 University Drive, reported someone stole two bikes from the back of her truck parked in her driveway.

-3:42 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Merando Oldham, 42, 114 Kossuth St., was arrested for disorderly conduct.

-12:35 p.m.: warrant. Derek Kinninger, 38, 306 N. Miami Ave., Apt. B, was arrested on a warrant.

-10:22 p.m.: theft. Scott Redinbo, 44, 627 Second Ave., reported a Bostitch air compressor was taken from his residence.

-3:30 a.m.: warrant. Kenny Demarcus, 21, Piqua, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

FRIDAY

9:19 p.m.: theft. Richard Pulfer, 84, Wapakoneta, reported someone stole a letter from his mailbox at 1154 Evergreen Drive, Sidney.

-7:39 p.m.: theft. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on Michigan Street reported the theft of an air conditioning unit from the store, valued at $250.

-6:37 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report made by Wayne Stockton, 35, 620 Campbell Road, of the theft of his Buspirone medication and $150 from his vehicle at 234 W. Court St.

-6:32 p.m.: theft. David Hovestreydt, 54, 10752 Hardin-Wapak Road, reported the theft of his wallet from Electro Controls on Ferguson Court. The wallet contained his driver’s license, Social Security card and several credit cards .

-6:20 p.m.: criminal trespass. Shawnda Jones, 40, 809 Mount Vernon Place, reported a criminal trespassing.

-6:09 p.m.: theft. Gregory Nance, 40, 10507 Schenk Road, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a pair of brown sandals, valued at $17.

-5:07 p.m.: warrant. Lela Jones, 43, 1148 Hamilton Court, was arrested on an active warrant.

-1:55 p.m.: theft. Pasquale Ruiu, 64, Anna, reported someone entered his vehicle at Kroger on Michigan Street in Sidney and stole his Taurus 9 mm handgun.

-11:03 a.m.: found property. A Taurus handgun magazine with three 9-mm cartridges was found in the 100 block of North Highland Avenue and was turned in to the police department.

-8:06 a.m.: warrant. Andy Leach, 23, 412 1/2 N. Grove St., was arrested on two warrants, and Lee Burress, 26, 309 Doering St., was arrested on a warrant.

-12:24 a.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a pair of men’s shorts and a T-shirt. A police investigation is ongoing.

THURSDAY

-11:20 p.m.: burglary. Lacey Laughman, 20, 430 S. Main Ave., reported a burglary at her residence.

-9:58 p.m.: attempted burglary. Vincent Hicks, 23, 510 Hall Ave., reported a forced entry into his residence.

-2:39 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report made by Robert Johnson, 38, 215 1/2 E. North St., of the theft of medications.

Crashes

• Crystal Hartzell, 20, of Versailles, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 8:14 p.m.

Hartzell was traveling westbound on Michigan Street when she did not see the stopped vehicle in front of her at the red light at Kuther Road and she rear-ended it.

The other vehicle was driven by Jean Swob, 79, of Houston.

Sidney Rescue Squad responded to the scene.

• Aaron Pence, 31, Piqua, was cited with right-of-way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 5:34 a.m.

Pence was traveling northbound from the parking lot of 1529 West Michigan Street into traffic when he struck an eastbound vehicle on West Michigan Street. The collision caused the other vehicle driven by Dane Rike, 28, 629 Fielding Road, to spin out, strike the curb, go through the grass and strike the curb again before rolling over onto its top.

• Teri Hazeltine, 60, 1128 Cinnamon Ridge Road, was cited with failure to control following a crash on Saturday at 5:27 p.m.

Hazeltine was traveling northbound on South Walnut Avenue when she struck the driver’s side front wheel of a parked vehicle on the east side of South Walnut Avenue that is owned by Russell Gayhart, of Bellefontaine.

• Jeffery Daniels, 52, 606 Fourth Ave., was cited with reasonable control after a crash on Saturday at 1:48 p.m.

Daniels was traveling westbound near 1340 Grove St. when he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and struck a parked vehicle.

Daniels then turned southbound onto Fifth Avenue and left the scene but was located later at his residence.

The owner of the other vehicle was Thomas Macias, 1340 Grove St.

• Michael Kies, 66, 871 S. Ohio Ave., was cited with operation without reasonable control after a crash on Saturday at 11:34 a.m.

Kies was traveling eastbound on Fair Road when he hit a curb in an attempt to avoid rear-ending the vehicle in front of him that was stopped at the red light at Chase Avenue.

Kies was transported by Sidney Fire to Wilson Health.

• Dennis Wyer, 69, 1205 Taft St., was cited with obedience to traffic control device after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 8:48 p.m.

Wyer was traveling westbound on West Court Street at Fourth Avenue when he failed to stop for the red light at West Court Street and struck the southbound vehicle on Fourth Street that was driven by Devin Kouts, 23, 627 E. Court St.

• Megan Walker, 17, 418 Franklin Ave., was cited with operation without reasonable control after a crash on Friday at 4:41 p.m.

Walker was traveling eastbound in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Michigan Street and when turning south, she struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle in the parking lot. Walker then left the scene, but was located later by her license plate.

The owner of the other vehicle is Edward McDermitt, of Union City, Indiana.

• Alyxandra Carson, 16, Pataskala, was cited with improper backing after a crash on Thursday at 11:33 p.m.

Carson was backing out of the driveway of 325 W. Ruth St. when she backed into a parked vehicle across the street.

The other vehicle is owned by William Baker, 234 W. Court St.

• Shirley Edwards, 69, 1509 Sandlewood Place, was cited with operation without control following a crash on Thursday at 8:40 a.m.

Edwards was traveling southbound on Sixth Avenue when she failed to control her vehicle due to construction equipment working on the roadway and struck and knocked off the driver’s side mirror of a parked vehicle facing the south on Sixth Avenue.

The other vehicle is owned by Patsy Rickels, 509 Sixth Ave.

TUESDAY

-7:34 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to a call.

MONDAY

-10:42 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to the report of a cooking fire.

-5:24 p.m.: lines down. Firefighters responded to the 500 block of Jefferson Street on the report of power lines down.

-12:28 a.m. to 9:12 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

SUNDAY

-7:32 to 10:02 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls. One was for mutual aid to Anna.
