SIDNEY — The fourth annual Bessie M. Freeling Women’s Empowerment Tea will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, at Countryside Commons, 890 Countryside Lane, Sidney. The tea will begin at 11 a.m.

The theme for the tea, which is sponsored by the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Women’s Ministry, is “Embracing a Life of Change.”

The presenter will be Sister Annette Hayes, a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Dayton.

Donation for the tea is $15 per person. Deadline to reserve tickets is Aug. 13.
