After the chaotic presidential election, it is my pleasure to announce an event that is positive, apolitical, and inclusive. Dayton might have its “Big Read,” but Sidney has its “3rd Annual Book Club Luncheon.” Whether you’re a member of an area book club or someone who enjoys good books, you’re welcome to attend a special Dec. 2, 2016 event to be held at the Moose Lodge, Upper Level Banquet Room, in Sidney. Serena B. Miller, author of “The Measure of Katie Calloway,” will be our special guest speaker. In addition to her presentation, she will sign books and perhaps give us a sneak peek into her next novel. “The Measure of Katie Calloway” is available at the Readmore Hallmark in Piqua, online at Amazon (paperback and Kindle), and is a free download for iBook readers. Books will also be available for purchase at the luncheon.
