Lehman edges Loramie for Waynesfield title

WAYNESFIELD — It came down to one stroke as Lehman edged out Fort Loramie to win the Waynesfield-Goshen Invitational Monday at Prairie View.

The Cavaliers finished with a 327 while the Redskins were at 328.

Ryan Schmidt led Lehman with a 72 while Cole Gilardi had a 78, Tyler Lachey 87 and Mikey Rossman 90.

For Fort Loramie, Zach Pleiman shot a 79 while Craig Eilerman had an 81, Mitchell Puthoff 82 and Shea Swick 86.

Jackson Center was third a Bryce Sosby carded a 79. Nick Fischio of Botkins tied for medalist honors with Logan Dray of Lima Perry with a 71.

Loramie wins tri-match

Fort Loramie won a tri-match Tuesday at Turtle Creek as the Redskins had 175, Greenville 203 and Fort Recovery 208.

Pleiman took medalist honors with a 40 while Swick had 43, Eilerman and Rosengarten 46, Puthoff 47 and Jared Middendorf 53.
