Sidney, Anna, Lehman Catholic ranked in AP state football poll

Sidney, Anna and Lehman Catholic remain ranked in the Associated Press state football poll, while Minster has dropped out of the top ten in Division VII.

Sidney is ranked sixth in Division II, the same as last week. The Yellow Jackets, which beat rival Piqua 34-33 last Friday, host Tippecanoe on Thursday night.

Anna suffered its first loss of the season last Friday and has dropped in Division V this week. Marion Local, who’s ranked No. 1 in Division VI, beat the Rockets 32-7. Anna is ranked eighth in Div. V, down from third last week.

Lehman beat Hardin Northern 63-0 last Friday to improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Northwest Central Conference. The Cavaliers are eighth in Division VII, up two spots from last week. Minster was ranked No. 9 in Div. VII last week and lost 30-7 to St. Henry. Though the Wildcats received votes this week, they dropped out of the top ten.

All Division I through VII polls are below, with won-lost record and total points (first-place votes in parentheses). A statewide panel of sports writers and broadcasters rate Ohio high school football teams each week.

Minster drops out of top ten in Division VII after loss to St. Henry
