To the editor:
Most of us are skeptical about those we elect and send to represent us in Washington, D.C. My U.S. representative, Jim Jordan, sure changed my mind.
I received a notice in the mail from the IRS saying I owed them a big amount of money and if I didn’t pay it quickly, they were going to take my house and other assets to pay the bill. Called the IRS a couple of times — 30-minute wait times minimum — and they said I might be the victim of identity theft.
Not knowing where to turn, I contacted Rep. Jim Jordan’s office in Lima, Ohio. His staff took charge and resolved the issue.
As long as we have people like Jim Jordan, the little guy still has a chance.
