SIDNEY — Shelby County Commissioners recently appointed Randy Purdy to the Shelby County Regional Planning Commission and re-appointed Mike Lochard to the Shelby County Building Code Board of Appeals for a term from Jan. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2022.

The actions were taken during regular commission meetings.

In other business, the commissioners:

• Approved vacaton of township roads 1039 and 1037 in Maplewood.

• Approved the final payment for Daikin Applied for the HVAC renovations in the Annex. The total cost of the project was $1,875,965.00.

• Approved final payment to A&A Safety Inc. for the 2017 paint-striping program. The total cost of the project was $55,661.10.
