MONDAY

-10:01 p.m.: criminal trespass. Police arrested Mohamed Manis, 29, at large, on a charge of criminal trespass. He allegedly trespassed at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

-8:41 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Mark Ouellette, 50, 530 Franklin Ave., on a charge of domestic violence. The alleged victim was a juvenile.

-4:48 p.m.: drug abuse. Police charged Sean Carr, 19, of West Milton, with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly had a marijuana pipe and a marijuana bud in the 200 block of South Walnut Avenue.

-2:06 p.m.: property found. A hammer was found in the street at Court Street and Fourth Avenue.

-12:43 p.m.: theft. Someone entered the auto of Johnny Marsh, 904 N. Miami Ave., at the residence and stole $30 worth of lottery tickets.

-12:05 a.m.: theft. Kelly Beemer, 1050 N. Miami Ave., reported someone entered her unlocked auto at her residence and stole keys and skin lotion, valued at $21.

SUNDAY

-10:03 p.m.: theft and criminal damaging. James Caudill, 123 Piper St., reported someone struck a rear passenger window of his vehicle at his residence and broke it and then stole headphones, valued at $100, from the back seat. Loss from the damage was $200.

-12:39 p.m.: menacing. Victoria McKenzie, 728 Countryside Lane, reported a menacing incident.

-10:37 a.m.: breaking and entering. Mary Layman, 2536 N. Main Ave., reported someone trespassed onto her property at 223 S. Walnut Ave. and broke a window. Loss was $25.

-2:52 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Police were called to the emergency room at Wilson Memorial Hospital after staff there reported a man was causing problems. Police arrested David Scott Carnes, 51, 500 N. Vandemark Road. Apt. 79, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

SATURDAY

-7:48 p.m.: theft. Scott Roomes, of Sidney, reported a revolver and ammunition, valued at $470, were stolen from his vehicle. The location of the theft was not determined.

-6:36 p.m.: theft. Teresa Wright, 1401 Riverbend Blvd., reported the theft of medication and a $20 bill from her residence.

-5:24 p.m.: criminal trespass. Police received a report that Wilbur Buchanan, 223 S. Vandemark Road, was having a problem with an uninvited person at his home.

-1:12 p.m.: assault. Charles Price, 1717 Lindsey Road, reported someone assaulted him. He had an apparent broken rib.

-11:23 a.m.: criminal damaging. Ethel Estep, 712 Lynn St., reported someone used a rock to break the back windshield of her car at her residence. Loss was $100.

-9:29 a.m.: theft. Danny Cupp, 889 St. Marys Ave., reported license plates were stolen at his residence.

-7:54 a.m.: criminal damaging. David Henderson, 780 W. Parkwood St., reported someone damaged his mailbox and knocked over his basketball hoop. Loss was $50.

FRIDAY

-10:01 p.m.: theft. Taylor Richard, 63 Eastview Drive, Fort Loramie, reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle at 603 Oak Ave. and stole a cell phone, valued at $200, and $40 cash.

-8:56 p.m.: receiving stolen property. Personnel at Dollar General, 166 W. Court St., reported possible misuse of a food stamp card.

-4:34 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Tre Carey, 18, at large, on a theft charge. He allegedly stole the pickup truck of John Widney, 500 Bowman Drive, from the residence. The truck was valued at $2,000.

-12:31 p.m.: criminal damaging. Herbie Cuthbertson, 209 1/2 E. North St., reported a window at his residence was damaged. Loss was $50.

-9:57 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jeffrey Williams Jr., 701 S. Main Ave., reported the driver-side mirror on his auto was damaged at his residence. Loss was $100.

-8:45 a.m.: property found. A credit card was found and given to police. It was believed to belong to Stephanie Monnin, 3900 Simon Road, Russia.

-6:57 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A man reported his 12-year-old son was unruly.

-5:06 a.m.: assault. Maylana Craun, 311 1/2 Maple St., reported being assaulted at 333 Jefferson St. She had an apparent minor injury.

-2:42 a.m.: theft. Johnny and Cynthia Adams, 406 Oak Ave., reported their credit cards were stolen.

THURSDAY

-9:34 p.m.: unruly juvenile. An unruly 17-year-old girl was reported. Police served the girl and her parent with unruly charges.

-8:10 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Brooke Ruiz, 1237 Turner Drive, reported a woman came to her house and tried to attack her.

-7:13 p.m.: criminal trespass. Personnel at Amos Memorial Public Library reported trespassing.

Accidents

Wanda Challen, 65, 2340 Armstrong Drive, was cited with a turning violation after an accident Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:52 a.m.

Challen, driving a Sidney City Schools bus, was turning left from Sidney-Freyburg Road onto Hoewisher Road and hit a car that was stopped eastbound on Hoewisher, waiting to turn left onto Sidney-Freyburg. The driver of the car was Eric Heidemann, 17, 2945 Bridlewood Drive. The impact spun the car around. There was students on the bus. No injuries were reported.

• Pamela S. Mosier, 54, 18563 Herring Road, was cited with a traffic control violation after an accident Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 2:27 p.m.

Mosier was eastbound on Michigan Street and ran a red traffic light at Vandemark Road. Her auto hit a car that was southbound on Vandemark, causing the car to spin off the roadway. The driver of the other car was Thomas G. Poling, 62, 732 S. Ohio Ave.

• Charles D. Bryan Jr., 24, 615 Michigan St., was cited with improper backing after an accident Friday at 12:59 p.m.

Bryan was stopped northbound on North West Avenue at North Street. He backed up and hit a northbound car that was stopped behind him. The driver of the other auto was Lori A. Rice, 58, of Piqua.

• Brandie L. Wick, 24, 760 Countryside Lane, Apt. 11, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Friday at 5 p.m.

Wick was westbound on Michigan Street and struck in the rear a car that was stopped in traffic for a red light at Interstate 75. That car, driven by Yvonne K. Brown, 48, 10041 Oakbrook Drive, was pushed into a vehicle driven by Adrienanna M. Cook, 17, 510 W. Wagner Ave.

• Jacob R. Grubb, 19, 714 Kathy Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Sunday at 12:22 a.m.

Grubb was eastbound on Williams Street. He told police he was distracted by the headlights of a westbound vehicle and hit a parked car. A person, Johnathon D. Neville, 23, 1602 Beck Drive, was standing at the rear of the parked car and almost was hit. The owner of the parked auto was Byers Car Rentals, of Columbus.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-8:56 to 11:45 a.m.: Medics responded to three calls.

-8:42 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to the 2000 block of Michigan Street by a fire alarm.

-6:59 a.m.: smoke smell. Firefighters were called to investigate a smoke smell in the basement at 332 S. Miami Ave.

MONDAY

-5:05 a.m. to 9:42 p.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

-6:43 p.m.: smoke. Firefighters were called to the area of the City Carryout on a report of a large amount of smoke. Firefighters determined the smoke was coming from an unauthorized fire at 212 N. Ohio Ave. They extinguished the fire.

2:54 p.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 2080 Michigan St. by a fire alarm. They determined it was an alarm malfunction.

-3:01 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 2771 Broadway Ave. It was a false alarm.

SUNDAY

-12:25 to 7:42 p.m.: Medics responded to eight calls.

-2:27 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters were called to 327 Linden Ave. They determined a carbon monoxide detector was faulty.
