JACKSON CENTER — Janice and Steve Barker, of Jackson Center, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, Friday, March 22, 2019.
Steve and the former Janice Weber were married March 22, 1969, in the Anna Methodist Church.
Steve is the son of Roe Barker, of Jackson Center, and the late Jack Barker.
Janice is the daughter of Ruth Weber, of Sidney, and the late Paul Weber.
The Barkers have a daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Gregg Abbott, of Anna, and a son and daughter-in-law, Jayson and Wendy Barker, of Sidney. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Steve served in the Air Force and Air National Guard for 22 years and retired from Honda after 27 years of service. Janice, a registered nurse, retired from Fair Haven Shelby County Home after 27 years of service.
The couple are members of the North Broadway Church of Christ in Sidney. They enjoy spending time with their family, houseboating on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky and wintering in Arizona.
