NEW BREMEN — Edith Blanke Wissman, of New Bremen, will celebrate her 90th birthday at an open house, May 6, 2018, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the St. Paul United Church of Christ assembly room in New Bremen.

She requests that gifts be omitted. She would welcome greeting cards.

Wissman was born, May 2, 1928, the daughter of Lorraine “Toots” and Lester Blanke. She married John Wissman, Aug. 6, 1950. He is deceased.

She has two daughters and sons-in-law, Chris and Bill Poeppelman, of Anna, and Cindy and Jerry Newman, of New Bremen. She has two living grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One other grandchild is deceased.

Wissman is a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen and many area organizations.
