JACKSON CENTER — Pauline L. Arnett, of Jackson Center, will celebrate her 100th birthday at an open house, Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the American Legion Hall in Jackson Center.

Arnett was born Oct. 4, 1918, in Shelby County, to Mary and Charles Linker, who are now deceased. She married Ronald O. Arnett, May 5, 1981. He is deceased.

She has two sons and daughters-in-law, Karl F. and Norma Arnett, of Jackson Center, and Henry A. and Kathy Arnett, of Galena. She has six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arnett is still active in running her farm and operated farm machinery until recently. She is a fan of all sports, especiallly Ohio State University women’s basketball.
