FORT LORAMIE — Pauline “Polly” Ratermann, of Fort Loramie, will celebrate her 90th birthday, Sept. 1, 2017, with her family and a card shower.

Pauline was born, Sept. 1, 1927, in Sidney, to Franklin and Clara (Schmerge) Cole, who are deceased. She graduated from Holy Angels High School in Sidney and the Good Samaritan College of Nursing in Cincinnati. On May 13, 1950, she married Urban Ratermann in Sidney. He is now deceased.
Ratermann has of six sons and five daughters-in-law, Frank and Illean Ratermann, of Sidney, Steve and Chris Ratermann, Fred Ratermann, Karl and Robin Ratermann, and Matt and Jane Ratermann, all of Fort Loramie, and Phil and Lisa Ratermann, of Tipp City; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Leah and Dennis Wente, of New Bremen, and MaryAnn and Greg Novitsky, of Flower Mound, Texas. She has 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ratterman is a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fort Loramie.
