ANNA — Aaron and Jessica Schmiesing, of Anna, celebrate the birth of their daughter Leona Schmiesing on Nov. 22 at 11:07 a.m. at Wilson Health Hospital in Sidney.

Leona weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces and was 19.25 inches long when she was born. Leona was welcomed home by her older brother Isaac, 1 year old.

Her maternal grandparents are Angella and Ted Weaver, of Versailles, and Daniel and Connie Millhouse, of Russia. Her paternal grandparents are Tim and MarNell Schmiesing, of Anna. Leona’s great-grandparents, on her mother’s side, are Jim and Connie Millhouse, of Troy.

Her mother is the former Jessica Millhouse, of Russia.
