COLDWATER — Jennifer and Aaron Alig, of Coldwater, have announced the birth of a son, Rudy Raymond Alig, born Jan. 17, 2017, at 3:44 a.m., in the Miami Vallley Hospital in Dayton.

He weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sisters, Audrey Alig, 7, and Abby Alig, 5, and his brothers, AJ Alig, 3, and Ryan Alig, 1.

His maternal grandparents are Joyce and Richard Platfoot, of Botkins. His paternal grandparents are Diane and Ralph Alig, of Coldwater.

His great-grandparents are Doris and Raymond Bornhorst, of McCartyville, and Jeannette and Richard Alig and Carma and Dennis Diller, all of Coldwater.

His mother is the former Jennifer Platfoot.
