YORKSHIRE — Shelly and Jay Poeppelman, of Yorkshire, have announced the birth of a son, Aiden Thomas, born Nov. 1, 2017, at 7:56 a.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sisters, Katelyn, 7, and Lauren, 6, and his brother, Brandon, 2.

His maternal grandparents are Margie and John Buschur, of Maria Stein. His paternal grandparents are Marilyn and Ron Poeppelman, of Fort Loramie.

His great-grandparents are Mary Ann and Tom Poeppelman, of St. Henry; Alma Schmitmeyer, of Cranberry; and Rita Buschur, of New Weston.

His mother is the former Shelly Buschur, of New Weston.
