COLUMBUS — Casey Schmiesing and Dan Mueller, both of Columbus, have announced their engagement and plans to marry May 21, 2016, in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kay and Tim Schmiesing, of Minster. She graduated from Minster High School in 2008 and from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. She is studying for a Master of Nursing at Otterbein University.

Her fiance is the son of Kathy and Bob Winner, of Minster. He is a 2007 Minster High School graduate and a 2011 graduate of the Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Tax. He is employed by American Electric Power in Columbus as a tax senior analyst.
