FORT LORAMIE — Gwen Poeppelman, of Fort Loramie, and Aaron Morris, of Anna, were united in marriage, April 6, 2019, in a ceremony at St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Diane Poeppelman, of Fort Loramie. Her grandparents are Paul and the late Elsie Poeppelman, of Fort Loramie, and Robert and Mary Lee Miller, of Delphos.

The bridegroom is the son of Jon and Karen Morris, of Anna. His grandparents are Art and Eileen Dapore, of Russia, and the late Earl and Joy Morris.

Father Steven Shoup performed the ceremony.

Beth Horstman served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Ratermann and Laura Poeppelman, sisters of the bride, along with Abby Pleiman and Jill Siegel.

Kyle Morris served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Poeppelman, brother of the bride, along with Rylan Billing, Eric Hoying, and Tyler Bensman.

A reception at St. Michael Hall in Fort Loramie followed the ceremony. The couple resides in Fort Loramie.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. In 2009, she graduated from Rhodes State College with an associate degree of applied science in nursing, and in 2011, she graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is employed by Wilson Health in Sidney as a registered nurse.

The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Anna High School. In 2011, he graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology. In 2016, he graduated from Wright State University with a Master of Business Administration. He is employed by Emerson as a senior advanced manufacturing engineer.

The couple met during a blind date set up by the bride’s sister, Beth.
