JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council has extended the boundaries of the village’s community reinvestment area.

The action came during a special meeting, April 16.

With the recent annexation of real estate into the village, it became necessary to amend the boundaries of the community reinvestment area. All provisions of the current CRA will remain in full force, the only change being the newly annexed areas.

The council also gave first reading to an ordinance that would amend zoning regulations, requiring that R-2 and R-3 zoning districts have a minimum size of two acres.
