Singer to entertain at trustee dinner

FORT LORAMIE — The Shelby County Trustees and Fiscal Officers’ annual turkey supper will be Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in St. Michael’s Hall in Fort Loramie.

The event, open to the public, will feature entertainment folk singer Joseph. The multi-instrumentalist and storyteller ahs been performing for more than 25 years. He specializes in vocals, guitar, banjo, mandolin, recorders and mountain dulcimer.

He has taught general music and guitar classes at several schools and led seminars on comunication techniques. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from Bluffton College.

His programs include a variety of musical styles, as well as a healthy dose of humor.

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. In 2017, more than $2,500 in prizes were awarded.

The dinner will be prepared by the Fort Loramie Livestock 4-H club and is a menu of turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn cole slaw, dinner rolls, pie and coffee.

Tickets, which cost $10 each, can be purchased from any township trustee and at the door.
