FINDLAY — Local students who attend the University of Findlay have been recognized recently for various achievements.

Sarah Bornhorst, of Fort Loramie, served as house manager and usher for a college production of “The Misanthrope” and was elected president of the Spanish Club and of Alpha Psi Omega.

Whitney King, of Anna, has been placed as a student teacher in the Arcadia Elementary School in Arcadia. She is pursuing a degree in middle childhood mathematics and social studies education. She was elected president of Kappa Delta Pi.

Ethan Hockaday, of Sidney, was elected president of Dance On.

Stephanie Macke, of Sidney, was elected president of the Gerontology Club.

Betsy King, of Zanesfield, was elected president of Students Teaching Respect for Individuals with Disabilities Everyday.

Emily Peraza, of West Liberty, was elected president of the Euler Math Club and Pi Mu Epsilon.
