COLUMBUS — Payton Laws of Columbus has been accepted by the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and was one of 110 students to participate in the college’s White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 25 in the Mershon Auditorium.

Laws, the daughter of John E. and Kim Laws, of Mason, and granddaughter of John and Edna Laws, of Sidney, earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Virginia in May.

Laws plans to study pediatric dentistry.
